United’s pursuit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have come to an end already according to the latest reports. It’s been suggested the striker would be joining the Reds this Summer on a one year deal to help kick start the Jose Mourinho revolution. A deal for the former PSG, AC Milan and Barcelona star may have already been done by the powers that be at Old Trafford.
The Daily Star notes:
Manchester United have completed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to beIN Sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The Swedish striker is joining on a free transfer from Paris St-Germain after running down his contract at the French champions.
Palmeri claims the 34-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Red Devils and the club can extend for a further 12 months.
He tweeted: “Ibrahimovic has signed for Manchester United.
Palmeri has over 125,000 followers on twitter and is fairly well respected, if he’s wrong about Ibrahimovic signing for United his reputation would be severely damaged. With Ibrahimovic himself being coy about the United rumours- but refusing to deny them, it’s obvious the Reds at the very least are either on the verge of signing him, or have already done so.
