There are some things in life that are guaranteed even more than death and taxes, calls for David Moyes to be sacked, Barcelona getting all the decisions and Manchester United drawing at home among them and this weekend was no different as West Bromwich Albion came to Old Trafford, defended for 94 minutes and walked away with a point just as the likes of Hull City, Bournemouth, Burnley and Stoke City to name but a few have done so this season.
Jose Mourinho was left fuming after his side drew 0-0 with West Brom, so much so that he almost lost it with a reporter who dared to ask whether the two teams had cancelled each other out. United are now 16 points behind leaders Chelsea, having played one game less, which is something of a shocking statistic when you consider just how many chances the Reds have had to make some of their many home draws, wins this season.
United fans took to social media to vent their frustration and it wasn’t pleasant reading for the Special One:
I’m glad I’m not the only one that has realized Mourinho needs to go. It’s time to bring Pochettino, Bielsa, Simeone, Sampaoli.

The positive narratives for Mourinho this season compared to Van Gaal’s last season are bordering on disgraceful. #MUFC #Joke

Beginning to suspect the Mourinho has indeed lost his mojo. Chelski broke him. Nonsensical team selections.#mufc

Mourinho is right to criticise players publicly. Players have been getting away with it for 3 years now. Love the no nonsense approach.
