Ever since he set foot in Old Trafford, Anthony Martial has been the subject of constant speculation much of which has been completely over-the-top and unfounded.
When he first arrived Martial was labeled a ‘waste of money’ by one national newspaper, before he’d even kicked a ball, then there were revelations about his private life plastered all over the pages of another paper. All harsh drivel aimed at a young man with a young family in a new country, who’s surpassed much of the expectation leveled at him on the football pitch and may have made the odd error off it that most young men do at some point in their lives.
The latest stories centering around Martial, ones that have been doing the rounds for the past six months in one form or another have the French international set to leave the club on loan. Reports in the Mirror indicate Roma are the latest side to be linked with Martial – United fans have been giving their reaction to the rumours.
