Jude Bellingham is arguably one of the best young midfielders on the planet, but just how good is he? Is he £129 million good? That’s the question Erik ten Hag and Manchester United will be asking themselves as it’s been revealed Dortmund have slammed that asking price on the 19 year-old.

According to the Mirror, Bellingham is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid as they note:

“Liverpool have been credited with an interest in Bellingham on a number of occasions in the past, with Jurgen Klopp thought to be a big fan. Meanwhile, rivals Manchester City and Manchester United are also admirers of the Englishman, while Real Madrid have emerged as frontrunners for his signature next summer.”

There’s no doubting Bellingham’s ability and he continues to shine for Dortmund, just as he did at Birmingham City as a 16 year-old. His form at Birmingham saw United try to sign him, even going as far as to show him around Carrington with the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona and Bryan Robson being introduced to Bellingham and his dad who also helps look after his football career.

United may have missed out once but reports indicate the Reds have maintained a positive relationship with the Bellinghams and if Erik ten Hag can guide his team to the Champions League next season AND the board are willing to stump up the £129 million, then we could see the talented teenager at Old Trafford next season.
