Will the striker spearhead the Reds today?

“Revenge is a dish best served cold” goes the saying but it should actually be “revenge is a dish served best on a cold January afternoon” as United attempt to put the 5-3 loss to Leicester City at the King Power stadium well and truly behind them.

Louis Van Gaal has conceded that the Reds need to score more goals and what better way to address that than a home game against a side who are struggling at the foot of the table.

With a full squad to choose from -other than Michael Carrick- Van Gaal could really go for it this afternoon and try and take the game to Leicester, get them on the back foot early and hopefully give them a good hiding- mind you we said that about Cambridge….

Here’s how the Reds could line up today and yes, I’m sticking my neck out as saying the manager will ditch the 3-5-2.

[4-4-2] David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Tony Valencia, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao.
