Fergie will be watching the next five games from the stands

Sir Alex Ferguson has decided not to appeal his five game touchline ban imposed by the FA following his comments against referee Martin Atkinson.

Ferguson was banned for three matches plus a further two games due to a suspended ban hanging over him from last season.

The United manager’s decision means he’ll have to watch the Bolton, West Ham, Fulham. FA Cup semi final and Everton games from the stands but will be back in the dugout for the Arsenal game at the Emirates.
