The referee reaches for his red card as both teams are reduced to ten men
United reserves beat Newcastle 2-1 away from home on Monday thanks to a brace from Gabriel Obertan.
The Reds victory was marred somewhat by the sending off of Ravel Morrison, who received his marching orders for a kicking out as James Perch who responded with a neck grab that resulted in his own red card.
