Paul McGuinness’s academy side had the perfect preparation for the FA Youth Cup final by demolishing Leeds 5-0 at Carrington on Saturday.
Two Will Keane strikes and goals from Tom Thorpe, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Gyliano van Velzen were enough to send United’s age old Yorkshire rivals packing.
Tunnicliffe, who’s quickly becoming this site’s favourite academy player was on top form and is doing his glowing reputation no harm.
