After all the pre-season hype about how ‘this is gonna be our season’ they fail to beat Steve Bruce’s Sunderland at home on the opening day. Not a terrible result I’ll admit, but when one of your star strikers is totally dominated by Wes Brown and your other one takes penalties like this, it’s time to start questioning the wisdom behind your signings.
