The former Old Trafford favourite looked in unstoppable form as he led Real Madrid to a 4-1 rout of mid-table Sevilla. As if to make matters worse Ronaldo also got an assist setting up Karim Benzema for the opener.
Admittedly Sevilla are hardly the most testing of opponents having now lost seven of eleven La Liga games away from home, but there fact Ronaldo looked so dangerous can hardly fill our defence with ease.
Attack may be the best form of offence when we travel to Madrid next week, putting Jose Mourinho’s side on the back foot, could at least allow us to get that precious away goal and maybe even leave Los Blancos a little surprised. Either way, ignoring the Ronaldo question is not an option, as these clips from the Sevilla game will testify.
