England v Ecuador: Live Blog

England v Ecuador: Live Blog

Roy Hodgson gets one final chance to look at his squad ahead of travelling to Brazil with a friendly against Ecuador in Miami.

Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could get a run out for Hodgson’s men as the England boss will be keen to give his fringe players a taste of first team action before they head off to the World Cup. It won’t be a surprise if Wayne Rooney gets some game time as the United striker tries to get himself up to match fitness following an awful display against Peru.

Tonight’s game won’t tell Roy Hodgson a lot he didn’t already know but it will give the England squad the chance to play in a match closer that bit more similar to Brazil against opposition that aren’t a total pushover.

You can follow all the action on our live blog which will be running throughout the game.
