He’s here, finally after days of wrangling over image rights the Special One has finally put pen to paper on a three year deal at United with an option to stay at the club until 2020.
The former Chelsea boss was unveiled on Friday morning and gave an exclusive interview to United’s MUTV channel where he described the club as being a giant.
“I feel great, I think it comes in the right moment of my career because Man United is one of these clubs where you need to be prepared for it, because it is what I used to call a giant club. And giant clubs must be for the best managers, and I think I am ready for it.”
Mourinho has already ingratiated himself with the fans with his comments on the club and made the morning of one fan in particular by signing his United shirt. The main question now is will the Special One be making any big money signings for the club this Summer? Reports indicate that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be on his way to Old Trafford but with Marcus Rashford scoring on his England debut Mourinho may have to think twice about whether he needs another striker.
