United’s pursuit of Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, appears to have come to an end with the striker already having finalised personal terms ahead of his move to Old Trafford according to the latest reports.
Sky Sports report: Manchester United are making plans for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to undertake a medical in Manchester after agreeing personal terms with the Sweden striker.
The medical, which is scheduled to take place after Euro 2016, is the last remaining hurdle before he signs a one-year contract at Old Trafford.
Personal terms were agreed on a one-year contract after negotiations between Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola and Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward took place in recent weeks.
Ibrahimovic has also been named in the provisional squad for the Olympics for Sweden so could actually end up joining United once the season has already begun should he choose to travel to Rio and his national side go far in the competition. United fans won’t be bothered about that though, as the fact one of the world’s top strikers is coming to Old Trafford is something we can all get excited about- regardless of the wait.
