When questioned on the whole Wayne Rooney ‘swearing’ saga- Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp labelled the striker a “silly boy.”
Redknapp went even further in his admonishment of Rooney stating: “Why’s he so angry? I don’t remember Bobby Charlton doing that when he used to score.”
While those statements may be true it seems a tad hypocritical of Redknapp to be taking the moral high ground when it comes to swearing on the television. Here’s two examples of the Spurs’ manager’s fondness for the odd four-letter tirade.
