Alexis Sanchez

His Ryan Giggs impression was lacking some major chest hair

He is the most hottest property in world football at this current moment in time. Every big club has some kind of interest in him. Yes I am talking about Alexis Sanchez and I believe that he should become a Manchester United player.

The player dubbed El Niño Maravilla is said to be most interested in joining Barcelona however reports today emerged that Udinese representatives met with Manchester United representatives this afternoon to try to strike up a deal. It seems these reports are actually true but whether they will strike up a deal for the promising young forward remains to be seen.

He is possibly one of the most stylish players that I have seen. Definitely one of the best dribblers of the ball. El Niño Maravilla is predominantly a right winger but can also be deployed in any attacking position and for me is probably one of the best young players around. After an eye-catching world cup I was definitely not against the idea of Manchester United trying to sign him.

I however did watch quite a lot of Alexis Sanchez playing for his club Udinese last season in the Serie A. He most definitely had a very impressive season. In 31 league appearances in the 10/11 season he scored 12 goals,  directly assisting 7 times.

I feel that what he could bring to Manchester United is something we have not had since the days of Cristiano Ronaldo. There I said it. The comparison with Ronaldo is inevitable for this player. As I have said he is a superb dribbler but that isn’t the only thing he has going for him.

What could Alexis Sanchez really bring to United? I feel the one thing he can give to us is that he is adept in playing every single position as good as each other. Most games he turns up in all attacking areas of the pitch. He seems to victimise players a lot repeatedly trying to beat the same man and succeeding most oftenly. His ball retention is superb.

With the speed of the English league I feel he would excel, possibly to the Ronaldo’s heights if he works hard enough. Defenders in England commit to the challenge a lot more than in Italy. Even in Italy he manages to get the defenders to commit to a challenge. He is often fouled and wins a lot of free kicks. It is not often that I have seen him lose the ball whilst dribbling with the ball though on occasion he can be loose with his passing.

Sanchez also has a brilliant shot on him. He is pacey, strong, skilful, creative and physical. He most definitely possesses the qualities needed for a player like him to suceed in the premier league.

With rumours of both Manchester United and Manchester City chasing him I would be disappointed if we were beaten to his transfer. It is inevitable that Manchester City will offer him more money than we will but if he does want to one day become one of the best players in the world he will need to play at the highest level possible and I do not think a move to Manchester City will be purely for footballing reasons.

I think that if Sanchez does transfer to Manchester United, it indicates to me that Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to emulate the interchangable forward line that we had back in 2008. That season Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez and Giggs swapped and changed positions countless times with each other every match making them extremely hard to mark and keep tabs on. It worked very well for us and was extremely successful and with the signing of Ashley Young, another versatile forward, maybe I’m onto something.

What would signing Alexis Sanchez mean for Nani? Most people believe that if we do sign Alexis Sanchez, Nani may be heading towards the exit door. I am also one of those who share that same belief. With us having just signed Ashley Young as well as having Antonio Valencia and Park Ji-Sung in our ranks I have an inkling that Nani may be on his way if this transfer takes place.

Alexis Sanchez could possibly be Manchester United’s best signing this summer. Would you be okay with this transfer if it meant losing Nani? Feel free to comment below

Another point, I also believe we need to sign Sanchez because if we dont the City will and to play against him in domestic games will be nail biting. We can not lose this player to our rivals like we did Tevez who is still a world class player.

If only Valencia and Nani was one player lol

people tend 2 4get that playin in italy and playin in england are way difrent, take a look at shevchenko, who was 2nd only 2 ronaldinho when at ac milan, but when he moved accros to chelsea he was reduced to the bench, sanchez is a great player and im not sayin he wouldnt fit in, howeva think carefuly about who you sacrificing… Sanchez only scored 2 goals more than nani, but his assist was far less and let me remind you again italy is not england, nani already proved himself…As Rio said, ‘when we needed that bit magic, nani was the one 2 produce it’

It’ll be a sign that ferguson is trying to build a team that could match barca’s quality…it shouldn’t mean that nani leaves…(hypothetically talking)we have valencia, giggs, nani, ashley young, park&lastly alexis…giggs is surely on his last legs, this might even be his final season plus most times now he plays more centrally due to the energy exerting play of wingers;park known as the work horse with four lungs is also above thirty, though still effective, his age shows he’s not getting any younger…that leaves us with just four wingers&i don’t think that’s too much for a squad…with alexis&young being adept at playing in any position upfront…with squad rotation, unfortunately injuries are bound to do a lil stifling coupled with tactics, formationss&player’s fitness&form,i think it’s needless for nani to leave…plus competition is supposed to bring the best out of players, which is good for the team…young&alexis are also good technical players which would improve the technicality of the squad,in general that’s on a mediocre level,i think…though we should still expect 2 central midfielders(a creative one&a combative one)!

WHY ARE PEOPLE COSIGNING THAT NANI SHOULD LEAVE? THE GUY SCORED 10 GOALS AND PROVIDED 18 ASSISTS YOU TAKE ALL THAT AWAY AND WE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE FINISHED 5TH, SANCHEZ LOOKS GOOD ON YOUTUBE NO DOUBT BUT BEING GOOD IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE AND GOOD ON YOUTUBE IN ITALY ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS,

I PERSONALLY DONT SEE WHY THE CAN’T PLAY IN THE SAME TEAM? SANCHEZ ON THE LEFT NANI ON THE RIGHT, AND IF NEED VALENCIA CAN BE A RIGHT BACK SOMETHING SIMILAR TO DANIEL ALVEZ AT BARCA

JUST IMAGINE SANCHEZ AND NANI ON THE WINGS THAT WOULD ACTUALLY BRING BACK THE EXCITEMENT MANU HAVE BEEN LACKING.

signing Sanchez will be a very good buy for Manchester united, he will add more fire power to the attacking line up and i probably think the player Manchester should go for right now is LASS, he will be able to chase the ball around for the united attacking midfielder. Manchester till i die

sanchez in or sanchez out, nani aint going nowhere. 10 goals, 18 assists and at 24yrs, the guy is a blessing…greedy, inconsistent at times, yes, but still a blessing.

If we go back to the treble winning side (squad) we played equally as well down both wings with Giggs & Beckham and were near unbeatable.
I think SAF has gotten to the stage where he sees any squad capable of winning the European cup as good enough to walk the Premier League and will be the focus more than ever in his final few years as manager.
I would be upset to see Nani leave owing to us perservering with him when he struggled. If anything, I would like Berbatov removed as he slos our play down too much, though we have also perservered with him.
I’m sure Sanchez i a United fan – I read this two years ago I think. Didn’t have posters of our players on his walls?
By the time the season kicks off we’re going to have one hell of a side and I hope Nani is still with us as well as Sneijder and Sanchez…a Hargreaves type would be good too.

Bullshit responses, Nani just had a great season. Staying put, full stop. Why would we piss money away on another winger when we have no fucking central midfield. Get a grip, club isn’t fucked minted with money to spend on vanity purchases.
