Ashley Young

Finally a United player

England international Ashley Young has sealed his move to Old Trafford.

Sky Sports News reports:

“Manchester United have completed the signing of England winger Ashley Young from Aston Villa on a five-year contract.

“Young’s move to Old Trafford, for a reported £16million fee, had been widely anticipated for some time after he announced that he was keen to play at the very highest level.”

Young joins Phil Jones as United’s other transfer window signing and brings Sir Alex Ferguson’s spending up to £32 million.

With a goalkeeper still a priority and around another £60 million apparently available to spend, United’s Summer business looks far from over.

i’ll be waiting for the central midfield reinforcements. I believe we need 2 world class midfielders central that is. A young is to me a bonus. Its nothing major to me
