The whole transfer saga is getting all a bit pants...sorry.

The latest twist in the on/off getting a little tiresome Samir Nasri saga comes courtesy of one of the more reliable publications.

According to the Independent Nasri is determined to leave The Emirates.

The Indy notes:

“Arsenal were facing up to the fact they may have no option but to sell Samir Nasri last night after the player made it clear how desperate he is to leave, following Manchester United’s £20m offer.

“The mood at Old Trafford has been one of mounting pessimism after the initial offer for Nasri, tabled three weeks ago, failed to elicit even a formal rejection from the north London club. The Independent understands that Nasri and manager Arsène Wenger did not hold talks when the midfielder returned to London Colney yesterday. But the club is establishing a full sense of how badly Nasri wants to leave, with the prospect of the silverware at United strengthening his resolve to go.”

What to make of this latest report is as confusing as the midfielder’s penchant for woolly neck wear but if there is any truth to the story then its seems United’s interest may have sparked Nasri’s desire to leave, rather than the other way round.

Watch this space as we’ll endeavour to try and keep you as up to date as possible with the shenanigans surrounding the French international.

Wonderful decision to make.arsenal is a good club notwistanding but it seems the man called arsene wenger is their problem.no high profile signing and u want to win the trophies.NO.arsenal stakeholders should do something before it get out of hands.

  2. John Tring says:

Nasri can leave. But I hope we at Utd don’t buy this little guy. Utd need a world-class creative CM and Nasri is NOT that. Sneijder is the only player that Utd must buy. Cheap options only give you cheap results. And don’t worry . Arsenal will sell both Nasri and Fabregas. These two will generate like 50-55 million pds in profit. So, so-called fans of Arsenal, please shut up. Businessmen only want money, not trophies. Long live Arsene. From a Utd fan. We have one less to worry about.

Its a difficult task for arsenal, but they should there worst fear. If he has decided to go then, they should let me go and not frustrating him.

  5. Samir nasri says:

It is a good decision for samir, a trophy is what he really desire, so joining manchester united gives him the opportunity of fulfiling his dreams. He should be a man of himself and not allow the manager force him into staying where his heart doesnot desire

He is a highly intelligent player, but can he handle the step up to United? He did a few things well last season but tiled off badly. I agree with the earlier post that Sneijder is one who will give us an incredibile opportunity to hit another level. Schweinteiger as well would make Barca games very interesting.
If we do sign Nasri then I really hope we don’t stop there and that will be enough to get at Barca…good enough for the league but not Europe.

  7. I agree wt u, Lee. Man utd need to still sign either Sneider or Schweteiger (or even both, possibly)after Nasri if he is eventually allow to come to man utd. These signings should be enough (coupled with d competence and sagacity of Sir Ferguson) to displace Barca& ‘knock them off their perch’ in Europe. But I don’t agree dt Nasri is not 1st class. I am convinced dt ds Guy(Nasri)would fulfil his full potentials at Man utd and become a legend, possibly d world’s best in future

Wenger pls alow dis guy 2go,dnt block dis guy 4rm where he wanted 2 achive his aim

  9. chaka says:

Samir is a good player, if united can add him to d current squad, I think we would be better. Buh ultimately sneijder should be at old trafford at the start of the season.

wenger should ralise that he is a loser and nasri want to succeed. He should not force him to stay.Nasri man u is the place to be.
