Wesley Sneijder

"Did I sky plus Big Brother?"

It looks as though we can finally draw a line under the Sneijder to United rumours and concentrate on the fact that we don’t need him because Tom Cleverley’s mint.

The latest pictures from the official Internazionale website show that Sneijder has returned to the squad after a spell away for ‘personal reasons’ and is now training hard.  You can check out the pictures of him training by clicking: here.

The chances of Sneijder, leaving Inter Milan’s training in the next three days to come and sign for United are about as likely as Arsene Wenger spending lots of money.

It’s a shame, cleverly is good and will improve but would still do so with an awesome player like sneidjer there too. Maybe Fergie thinks we can do without till January then gets him at a much reduced fee?? Jones and young are good but doesn’t bridge a massive gap between us and barca! We were swamped in midfield.
We really need a player like Owen Hargreaves in his prime, or better still Roy Keane but there will only ever be one keano!

I told someone at the beginning of this
Saga that it would never come off. I am
sure of it. I was right then. Sni as I call
him, as I cant remember how to spell the
rest, is going back to inter. Good buy for
    them it seems.

  3. Paul says:

he was never coming due to hes age and fergie looking at players under 25 for a resale value

Lessons of the past are never learnt. All talk and no outcome. I wonder what the boss will have to say when we get swamped in midfield again; and this time it won’t be Barca alone .. City, Chelsea and sadly Liverpool too.

I think he has been for a medical and to discuss terms in case it is agreed on deadline day….still think this will happen.

a busier than normal summer didn’t happen. Feel disappointed as Cleverley is average at best and Sneijder would have been the marquee signing that we needed.

  6. Luke says:

Yup, Paul your making it up there were clearly some talks so the age thing didn’t matter, and nor should it we need someone in his prime like him to mix with the youth! Sneidjer is such a good midfielder united would have been unstoppable !

  7. Jim says:

I understand wanting him, but what are we too do?, ask Inter “name your price”, ask Wes “how much would you like to be paid?” It was never gonna be an easy one to do, and we have to draw a line at some point.

Its shameful loosing twice in finals to one same club.alex should know that utd is not for barca.it is today that we see tom exhibiting such brilliant play, what of tomorrow? Ask your self is tom better than fletcher,or anderson.but yet we meet barca and we are outsmash. 4now utd need a box to box midfielder, angry for ball player like wes.infact alex should remember that utd is a trophy winning club.barca within 3years have won 12 trophies.just think about this

My problem with this is he should never have been at inter in the first place when madrid was having the yard sale we didn’t even cash in on one if at had even been van der vart i would have been happy with the effort, then we let silva get away to city, now mata to chelsea relly fergie what are we waiting for ganso to join Arsenal I’ll be mad as shite if he does there are quite a few young world class midfielders out there please don’t let January pass and not even Gotze cause i sure as hell don’t see us pulling off any miracles at this stage
