Manchester United have had a bid for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder according to the latest reports. The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer long.
The latest reports from Mirror Football notes:
“Wesley Sneijder WILL become a Manchester United player this week… if he accepts a restructured pay-deal to move to the Premier League.
The Dutch midfielder’s club, Inter Milan, have paved the way for a £30million-plus transfer by accepting, in principle, a formal offer United made at the weekend.
They are ready to grant Sneijder permission to speak to officials from Old Trafford, and the Mirror understands those talks will take place later this week.
The only stumbling block to what would surely be world football’s deal of the summer is the player’s wage demands, given the tax-favourable status he enjoys while playing in Italy.”
If these reports are to be believed then a transfer to Manchester United isn’t too far off. Wesley Sneijder has however travelled to Beijing for the Italian Super Cup match against local rivals AC Milan on Saturday 6th August.

Looking at most of the comments so far, I would suggest most of these guys concentrate on their literacy skills before getting so involved with the latest transfer gossip.
As for the Sneijder transfer, I think it is going to happen. There is a gap that needs to be filled, and it’s asking too much for one of our promising youngsters to step up at this time. Fergie knows when is needed, and I trust him to get it sorted, sooner rather than later.

Really hope its true I’m sceptical as it was the mirror who see something like sneijder deal done this week and it never happened but they seem confident I’m getting to the point where I’m praying for it now sign him b4 we all die of impatience fergie lol
