Ever since Panorama accused his son Jason who’s a football agent, of being involved in illegal payments, Fergie has ignored the BBC.
United’s website now notes:
“Sir Alex Ferguson and the BBC have decided to put behind them the difficulties which led to Sir Alex feeling unable to appear on BBC programmes.
“This follows a meeting between Sir Alex and the BBC’s director general, Mark Thompson, and BBC North director Peter Salmon, and the issues have been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.
“Sir Alex will now make himself available to the BBC for Match of the Day, Radio 5 Live and other outlets as agreed.
“No further comment will be made by either party on this issue.”
No disrespect to Micky Phelan but I for one am looking forward to seeing Sir Alex back on MOTD giving the post match intereviews and occasionally ripping reporters a new one.
The Beeb abuses its right of freedom of speech with sensationalist journalism , they get it wrong no apology . the taxpayer and licence fee picks up the tab ! in our case we miss out on our managers thoughts on a match . Id love to know what is behind SAFs change of mind .
