United’s fairly uninspiring draw in Lisbon didn’t give many Reds much to shout about and hardly any of the players drafted in put themselves well and truly in the managers plans.
There was one exception to that rule however as Anders Lindegaard put in the sort of performance that made you realise he’s more than capable should he be called upon.

While his distribution wasn’t quite as good as David De Gea the young Dane produced a couple of world class saves to help prevent United from losing our opening Champions League game.

And he has a bit of spice about him as well lols, a bit of fire in his belly especially when he was asked if he’s challenging to be 1st choice goally and saying ‘what do u expect me to say? im not here to pick my nose!’

Even tho he looked the more competent, like u said de gea seems to the better distribution, then again we havent really seen lindergaard’s distribution skills in a proper premier league encounter. Tough choice for Sir Alex, most def…..
