This ‘goal’ from Fran Fandino was disallowed by referee due to a hole in the bottom of the net which confused the official.

I sorta think the reactions of the “enthusiastic” crowd behind the goal give a clue its a fricken fix!Anyhow where is the mannie with the wand fingie behind the goal, thon referee’s assistant fello?ohh I know its a Mickey Mouse game fae South America and not a vital Europa league cup game….innit!
Anyways officials will constantly make goal line errors, its human nature as long as they have holes in their backsides and the “nets”.
Get aff yer fat jacksie Septic Bladder and dae summit aboot it man, but leave it as it is, fir Englands games and the likes of fat Franks goal…..boootifull.

After watching the rugby world cup I can’t see any reason why a third umpire or referee can’t be used for contentious decisions. It would take a few seconds instead of the scenes of players surrounding the ref arguing their case. The dinosaurs in the corrupt organisation of FIFA need replacing.
