United’s reserves beat Bolton 1-0 in the Manchester Senior Cup with a late strike from substitute Ravel Morrison.
The game had been a somewhat dreary affair, with little to get excited about until Morrison fired in a stunning strike from the edge of the box in the 84th minute to hand victory to the Reds.

United: Amos; Vermijl, Fornasier, Fryers (McGinty 31), M.Keane; Pogba, Brown, Petrucci, Macheda; Diouf, W.Keane (Morrison 69). Subs not used: Coll, Thorpe, Cofie
