In one of the most shocking revelations in the history of world football, Ryan Giggs has admitted that he prefers playing at Anfield than Old Trafford.

Before United fans question the very fabric of our universe, it’s worth noting that it was a good 24 years ago that the then Ryan Wilson made the statement and it was purely to do with the state of the pitch, rather than any yearning to play in front to the Kop.

The interview comes at the end of a Granada report from Anfield as Giggs’s Salford side took on Blackburn and Darwen in a cup final at Anfield. No prizes for guessing which team won and which player absolutely dominated the game. CHeck out Giggs’s interview around the six minute mark

It also interesting to note the chief Liverpool scout at the end commenting on how if he’d have seen Giggs before United did they would have snapped him up.

    WOW.A must watch.
I guess hard work and commitment are key qualities for a professional football player.
Nothing surpasses what can be seen in this clip, ‘natural ability’ that Ryan Wilson displays.
I truly hope he gets a fantastic ovation and recognition of his achievments for United on Thursday evening when Ajax visit.
He will make his 900th appearance, the manager will have planned this.Giggs legend.
