United take on Alan Pardew’s Newcastle side at St James’s – sorry the Sports Direct Arena- knowing that a loss will severely damage our title hopes even at this early stage. Losing three games out of seven is unheard of for United and Sir Alex could probably do with an easier fixture as he tries to bounce back from the loss to Spurs.
United lost 3-0 in this fixture last season and Sir Alex has set out a team that will hopefully be able to cope with the tough fast paced players Newcastle have at their disposal. Tiote and Cabaye in particular last season were immense against United and both start for the magpies.
Newcastle: Harper; Santon, Williamson, Perch, Ferguson; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ba, Cisse
United: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Carrick, Cleverley, Rooney, Welbeck, Kagawa, RVP.
I really impress now with man utd line up in newcastle match
