De Gea – Made a string of impressive saves which should do wonders for his confidence. He’s easily the best keeper at the club and now he’s playing like it. 8

Rafael – Strong and willing to get stuck in, he gave the opposition a lot to answer for. Made a big goal-line clearance off the line. 7

Ferdinand – It’ll be a crime if we do not tie him to a new contract before this summer. A mountain at the back today, he kept the defence together and made a series of crucial headers. 9

Evans – Like his defensive partner, it was a big performance from the youngster. Kept his cool at important times and won countless headers and interceptions. 8

Evra – Good at the back and equally as impressive going forward. 7

Valencia – He was lucky to get a start in this game so you’d have thought he’d be eager to show his worth. Let’s put it this way, he was bad by even his own standards. 3

Cleverley – Very disappointing today as he failed to get any control over the midfield battle and looked like a bystander for large chucks of the match. 5

Carrick – A mixed performance from Michael as he showed glimpses of his usual positive self with some good passes over the defence. Didn’t happen too often for my liking though. 6

Nani – Another mixed performance. He looked to take players on and cause the Fulham defence trouble but the final ball was lacking. 6

Van Persie – He hasn’t scored in two games. It’s obvious he’s having a crisis! Well, not quite but he was fairly quiet today. Hopefully he’ll make up for it on Sunday. 6

Rooney – Big goal from a big player. Although I’ve been critical of him, he showed his worth with the well-taken winner and good defensive work. More please. 8

Subs:

Hernandez – His movement off the ball was key to the winning goal. 7

Giggs – Came on to keep possession and insure that that winning goal came. 7

Welbeck – N/A

    My thoughts:
De Gea – Had a clean sheet but he should thank his teammates to save it for him. 7
Rafeal – Better and better in each game. But, his partner Valencia could help him a lot on offensive. 7
Ferdinand – He is the most stable defender so far this season. He is the only one who can control the defensive line well. 9
Evans – He did pretty well last night, but he still showed shakey when holding the ball and always need to pass it to Ferdinand. 7.5
Valencia – Both offensive and defensive performance were terrible. Nothing can say more on him. 3
Cleverly – His ability to create opportunity is still not good enough. 5
Carrick – He didn’t play so well in the past three times including last night. It is doubtful he can continue to play this season. 6
Nani – He was not on his top form, but I think he had some change last night. He was less selfish than before. I think it is a good sign for him. 6
Wellbeck – His mistaken back pass almost gave Fulham a chance. Following Valencia, I think he is the second worst player in the team currently. 3
