In the aftermath of such a frustrating defeat to Real Madrid there may not seem like too much to cheer about just yet for United fans. Let’s not be too hasty though as the return of a little Ginger Genius is surely enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.
Scholes may not have played a huge part this season, but he’s still more than capable of doing a job and confirmation that he’s returning from injury and back in training cannot be termed anything other than good news.
It may be one season on but Scholesy’s return to the fold re-vitalised the Reds in the previous campaign and who’s to say if United are to chase our fourth double, the Ginger One couldn’t have a big influence as squeaky bum time approaches. Ryan Giggs was deemed surplus to requirements by many Reds at the beginning of the season and look how much of an impact he’s had of late, who’s to say Scholes’ couldn’t do the same?
hey guys lets just concentrate chelsea game.
Good post, it certainly is a relief to have him back. I don’t think him and Carrick
should play together, but Scholes is a very welcome deputy. Carrick’s arguably our most important player, and we don’t wanna burn him out for the run-in.
