Is anyone betting against these scenes NEXT May?

When you enter the final two months of the season fifteen points ahead of your nearest rivals it’s safe to say you’ve turned the title race into something of a procession, which is exactly how Manchester United must feel at the moment.

Despite Roberto Mancini’s claim that the league table is a lie, the table is an accurate reflection of just how Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have dominated the premiership this season, maybe not always with aplomb, but by grinding out the results other sides fail to.

It will come as little shock to anyone that United are already being installed as firm favourites to lift the title next season with this campaign’s ease being a major factor in influencing the bookies.

Summer signing’s for the Reds’ rivals could see the odds change somewhat but it would take a monumental spending spree by the likes of City or Chelsea to envision anything other than United as firm favourites next season.

Should United actually increase the gap at the top of the table this season- with a win in tonight’s derby for example then the odds on them being champions next season could shorten, so it may well be worth taking the 6/4 with Labrokes that’s on offer on Red title ribbons in 2014.

With odds of 1/1000 for United rendering this season’s betting over the book is now open for 2013/14 leaving City fractionally behind at 7/4 from Chelsea at 7/2.

Despite losing in the bosom of your own home, being whipped by the champions, failing miserably in the FA cup and losing to Real Madrid (following Nani’s horror tackle) – the reds have lots to be happy about ! Van Persie’s 30 th birthday party! Glory Glory ? That game was so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet aguerooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
