Lindegaard – Made a series of impressive saves that went out the window once the Mata shot bounced its way into the net. Should have been saved. 5
Rafael – Sent off after a debatable decision from the referee. A red card may be a tad bit harsh in my opinion. 5
Vidic – A commanding performances from the Serb which saw him clear a series of headers and make even more interceptions. 8
Evans – Went about his business quietly but failed to add anything to the attack as we’ve often come to expect from him what with his brilliant passing ability. 7
Evra – Started off really badly but eventually grew into the game. Nothing too spectacular from the Frenchman. 6
Valencia – Remember Bebe vs. Wolves a few seasons back when all his crosses ended up in the stands? Yeah, Antonio was just as bad today. 2
Anderson – Received an unbelievable amount of abuse on Twitter prior to kick off, some of which was justified, but actually played relatively well. Passed the ball around nicely and kept us ticking. 7
Jones – A very defensive display by the youngster as he kept an eye on Mata throughout. Didn’t add much when he had the ball though which was disappointing. 6
Cleverley – Another bystander performance from Tom where he does all the basics nice and tidy but offers nothing else, and eventually comes off for another player. It’s a shame because I like him. 5
Giggs – Our creative outlet on the day who did pretty well to get the Chelsea defence split open once or twice. 6
Van Persie – Very quiet game for our superstar as he saw very little of the ball. I think I might just be able to forgive him though. I love you, Robin xx 5

Büttner – Says everything about the state of our wingers that he was brought on as an attacking wide player. 5
Rooney – Best player I’ve ever seen. Came on as a substitute and changed the game almost instantly. Unlucky to lose the ball and directly result in us conceding the winner late on, but other than that he was untouchable. Truly the best player in the league by a mile. The White Pele. 10
Hernandez – Came on with 30 seconds left and looked like he was about to cry. My heart melted at the sight. N/A
