“And now, the end is here, And so I face the final curtain, My friend, I’ll say it clear, I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain, I’ve lived a life that’s full…”
The day all Reds have dreaded has finally arrived as Sir Alex Ferguson takes charge for his final game as Manchester United manager with a trip to the Hawthorns.
The game itself couldn’t be much more meaningless in terms of the Premier League, with the title already wrapped up and West Brom unable to gain seventh.
Sir Alex has already said he’ll give some of the younger defenders a chance for the end of season/career/era finale so expect to see Phil Jones and Jonny Evans line up in defence. A certain Scouse gentleman is also expected not to figure so it won’t be a surprise to see Robin Van Persie as a lone striker.
Here’s how I see United lining up:
Lindegaard, Tony Valencia, Jones, Evans, Evra, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Danny Welbeck, Shinji Kagawa, RVP.
………..Lindegaard……..
Valencia, Jones, Evans, Evra
……Cleverley, Carrick…..
….Welbeck, Kagawa, Giggs…
…………..RVP…………
looks good for the last game of the manager.
dude well said but would prefer chicharito in place of giggs. Giggs and scholes should played in second half.
Rafael Jones smalling buttner
. Anderson
. cleverley
. Rooney
. welbeck
. Kagawa
. van persie
I must be years out of touch but why does everyone always include Giggs in their squad when if you watch a game he never tackles he walks around half the game and every time he receives the ball it’s a big boot up the field.
He should have retired the same time as Scholes but you can not knock a man down with an ego as big as his.
