Despite his promise to play a strong side against Chelsea Sir Alex Ferguson hasn’t been afraid to leave out some big games for today’s game.

Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand Michael Carrick and David De Gea are the main omissions as Ferguson gives the likes of Anderson, Cleverley and Anders Lindegaard a start.

Lindegaard, Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra, Jones, Anderson, Cleverley, Valencia, RVP, Giggs.
Subs: De Gea, Ferdinand, Buttner, SCHOLES, Kagawa, Hernandez, Rooney.

A pretty weak side to be honest. We haven’t kept our promise here with this team. Why play Giggs and not Kagawa?? We need to start looking forward.
