The latest United transfer saga has finally drawn to a close and like the Wesley Sneijder, Lucas Moura and Eden Hazard ones of previous seasons, it ended with a player posing in the shirt of one of our rivals.

Thiago Alcantara’s move to Bayern Munich wasn’t too bitter a pill to swallow for many Reds, after all he is joining his old manager Pep Guardiola at the Allianz Arena, it’s just a crying shame many of us had been duped into believing the young midfielder was a certainty to join the Reds.

Seeing Thiago posing in a Bayern Munich shirt on twitter isn’t heart breaking, it’s just a bit disappointing.

    Bayern is one of the best team that know how to buy potential players for team development. They are not only focusing on the current situation, but also they have a good eye on the future. ManUtd is really far away from that. Moyes! Please do something useful!
