Plenty for the new boss to ponder on Wednesday

David Moyes will attempt to get Manchester United’s stuttering start to the season on track as the Reds entertain Champions League Group A whipping boys Real Sociedad on Wednesday night. The Spanish outfit have enjoyed an even worse start to the season than United, winning only two games out of nine in La Liga and losing both Champions League games so far.

This is the sort of game where excuses for David Moyes simply won’t be tolerated and considering the United boss rested a decent amount of players on Saturday there’s no where to run for him should the Reds fail to win. Let’s not be negative though, Moyes knows what he’s doing and hopefully his side on Wednesday will reflect that.

Here’s my predicted line up for the Champions League Group A game:

David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney.

Do you agree this will be the United line up? What do you think it should be? Feel free to let us know below:

Pls, Giggs should respect himself and stick to his coaching job.he’s costing us matches a lot. Pls,No giggs, young ,valencia and welbeck.they have nothing to offer.

  9. paschal says:

Why not , Bri. Is 8 games not enough for such a small minded coach who doesn’t knw how to manage skilled players. Or you are waitin for him to drag us to relegation before u know his time’s up. Tell me how many managers who are just one goal up in a home match to a small team , will resort to defending one goal? He’s so clueless. Keeps picking welbeck ahead of kagawa. What does that foolish welbeck offer us? Or is it cos he’s English?? He has never tried to play kagawa in his preferred role for once.instead he keeps playing that stupid ,pathetic fellow who calls himself welbeck.its very painful seeing moyes making us go through all these troubles, when there’s solution right there in his nose
