Could the boss add to his only piece of silverware in the past decade? United travel to the Britannia Stadium later today for what cynics are labelling the Reds best chance of a trophy. Well, while in all truthfulness the league cup may represent the easiest route to silverware, no matter how mixed the season has been so far, United are still in four competitions. Sort of.
Sunday’s victory over Aston Villa, coupled with a pleasing draw with Olympiakos in the Champions League has given Reds something to smile about. A win over Stoke and progression to the last four of the Capital One Cup will make it a very good few days for David Moyes, while a loss could start raising more questions at a time when the answers of late, haven’t always been what fans want to hear.
This is a game that United could use as a catalyst so don’t be surprised if the boss picks a strong side, with Javier Hernandez reportedly fit again.
Here’s my predicted line up:
David De Gea, Fabio, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Alexander Buttner, Anderson, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez.
Do you agree with that line up or will Moyes go for something different. Feel free to let us know below:
I wnt moyes to use

my line up
de gea,raphael,evans,vidic,evra,jones,cleverly,valencia,januzaj,rooney n hernandez
Nobody seems to want to see Young play, yet Moyes seems to be willing to provide him the chances.
His comments regarding Vidic make me think he won’t start.
