Could United’s new signing be the difference? David Moyes faces one of the men who previously occupied the Old Trafford dugout as Rene Meulensteen brings his struggling Fulham side to Old Trafford.

Moyes finds himself under pressure yet again, this time for the recent defeat away to Stoke City which has got more than a few people suggesting his tenure as United boss could be coming to an early end should results not drastically improve.

With Fulham in something of a free fall under Meulensteen- he recently claimed the Cottagers have hit rock-bottom – there’s no excuses for Moyes should he fail to beat a side who arguably have less confidence than anyone else in the league right now.

The question is how does Moyes get Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie to play together? Now could be the time for the manager to abandon the 4-4-2 that’s been something of an albatross around United’s neck.

Here’s my predicted line up: [4-3-3]

David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Robin Van Persie.

Do you agree?

As far as I’m aware Fellaini is injured (another week)…if he does pick that team then he is going even further backwards than ever…3 defensive midfielders?!?!?! I really hope he doesn’t do that or it will be yet more points dropped.

Why cant u go and assume moyes duty. U r nt in d possition to blame him. He has been trying alot. Man u performance is to b blame on ferguson due to d fact dat he was d one dat should ave changed man u squad before he leaves,he plays with old cargo nd dat is why our current team is nt performing wel. Nw lets leave moyes nd do what he can. Ave u 4goten where ferguson also starts? The likes of welbeck nd ashley young in d team is a total zero, jst because they r england players preparing 4 worldcup. The likes of kagawa, mata nd fellani can do well in d midfield rooney b da playmaker,we have vanpersie, januzaj,nd chicharito,ds r gud strikers,nt also carrick can play well 4 us as d def midfielder, evans, rafeal, jones, evra are gud t00. Where phil neville, he is fit nw to replace evra, why cant we start using hm?

I don’t like to see cleverly on the team, his performance as been woeful all season.instead i ll prefer darren fletcher.and also with fellaini injured again i will go for valencia or januzaj to swing to the side n matter can operate more from the midfield.
