Entertaining and successful- why would we want him? It’s beginning to look as though despite all the poor performances, awful results, falling out with players and bizarre press conferences the United board have finally realised that perhaps David Moyes isn’t the man for the job….

Rumours of Moyes’ imminent departure from Old Trafford have begun to reach fever pitch with Louis Van Gaal widely believed to be the bookies’ favourite to take over in the Summer.

While Van Gaal may boast an impressive CV and the sort of venerable coach that could weather the recent Moyes’ created s*** storm, at 62 he’s hardly anything other than a short term solution.

One man who’s been the preferred choice for many United fans- including myself- is Borussia Dortmund’s zany, yet supremely gifted manager, Jurgen Klopp. With Dortmund playing the type of football David Moyes couldn’t even dream of and two Bundelsigas and a Champions League final appearance under his belt, Klopp is a man who many fans would love to see at Old Trafford.

According to the latest reports though the 46 year-old could be on his way to England to manage one of our rivals- judging off this season they’re certainly our rivals as we’ve been around the same league position as them all campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to make a move for Klopp in the Summer which could see many United fans miss out on the one young, successful coach in Europe we may have been able to get our hands on.
