Could the striker be fit to start?

United face the first real test of the campaign today, which is somewhat worrying when you consider that we’ve played pretty much the bottom half of last season’s table so far, oh and a few who’ve been promoted.

The midweek draw against West Bromwich Albion was hardly the inspiration we were looking for ahead of the visit of Chelsea but at least we still look capable of scoring goals as freely as we concede them.

There’s rumours that Radamel Falcao may have picked up a knock in training, but I’m going to gamble that the Colombian makes the starting eleven.

Despite Marouane Fellaini’s superb goal against West Brom, this could be Juan Mata’s last chance to show Wayne Rooney isn’t undroppable so I expect him to start against his old club.

Here’s a predicted line up:

4-3-2-1: David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata, Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao.
