United striker Radamel Falcao may be cutting a forlon figure on the pitch of late but off it life seems to be going a lot better.
The former Monaco forward published a picture on his Instagram account yesterday of his new born baby with the message: ‘Mi princesa Desirée’ after his wife gave birth to the couples second child.
The chances of Falcao staying at United past the Summer seem to be remote as with only four goals to his name since his Summer arrival it remains doubtful the Reds would be willing to spend the suggested £43 million it would take to buy the striker on a permanent deal.
United face Swansea this weekend and time is running out for Falcao to prove himself to Louis Van Gaal, especially with a string of tough fixtures coming up in March where it’s unlikely the manager will be willing to play anyone who isn’t at the top of their game.
Let’s hope the arrival of his daughter can help give Falcao the lift he needs.
Falcao should be left to go, then sign another striker.
