Almost done?

United’s latest Summer signing is just days away from completing his move to Old Trafford as the first part of his medical has already begun according to the latest reports.

The Metro notes:

Barcelona forward Pedro has completed the first stages of his medical ahead of a £24.7m move to Old Trafford.

The Spanish winger is expected to complete his move to the Red Devils this week, though he might feature in tomorrow’s Super Cup tie in Neymar’s absence.

Van Gaal is keen to replace Di Maria with Pedro and it looks as though the deal is just days away.

Pedro’s move will finally complete Van Gaal’s attacking line up, although there are still rumours circulating that the Reds are in for Harry Kane, the news from Spurs seems to be they’re reluctant to sell their prized asset- especially with so little time left to find a replacement.

Pedro isn’t the only name on Van Gaal’s wishlist as Lucas Biglia and Jasper Cillessen are also rumoured to be heading to Old Trafford over the next two weeks.

All this Summer spending may seem a tad excessive but as we’ve already seen in the opening matches Manchester City look ready for a title challenge, while Chelsea’s and Arsenal’s vulnerability so far must give the Reds hope that with the right acquisitions Van Gaal’s men can be there or thereabouts come May.

One response to “Long Term Attacking Target Undergoes Medical Ahead Of United Move”

Pedro is good and I will be very happy to see him at Man Utd, but I still insist that Man Utd must sign a lithel striker like LACAZATTE or KANE who can score over 25 goals in a season; KANE has great interest for playing for Man Utd since at Spurs he is paid little weekly wage, but he fears exposing that interest since he was groomed in the academy of Spurs; Believe me or not if Woodward goes officially with a bid of over(45m pounds) he will sign KANE; Man Utd must sign OTAMENDI to cover the central defence problem, but BIGILIA can be optional; Thanks.
