I'll get away with it, I play for Chelsea

How many more hits can any club endure before you begin to question the very fabric of our footballing establishment?

Sunday’s game at the Emirates was yet another example of why it’s become increasingly obvious the FA are determined United will not beat the lovable, media friendly scousers to that 19th title.

Michael Owen gets his achilles practically detatched from his leg a mere three yards from referee Chris Foy in the 88th minute at the Emirates yet the Merseyside born official fails to see it.

A day earlier a linesman doesn’t see Frank Lampard’s shot beat Tottenham ‘keeper Gomes, yet he pretends that he does. Then the other linesman in that game cannot see Salomon Kalou is a yard offside for the winner.

Go back a few more months and Martin Atkinson fails to send off David Luiz for a second yellow card who subsequently earns a penalty that wins Chelsea the game against United. Did I mention the fact that John Terry committed a blatant handball in the area that went unpunished?

Go back even further Fulham are awarded a last minute penalty against Chelsea and Didier Drogba is three yards in the box when Clint Dempsey misses but the referee allows the miss to stand.

Jamie Carragher savages Nani enough to knock on the changing room door and apologise.

Michael Essien commits a red card tackle on Jermaine Pennant and doesn’t even get booked.

Don’t even get me f*cking started on the inconsistencies of f*cking sweargate.

Last season, it has been argued by someĀ  that, Steven Gerrard gave away the title on purpose and was rewarded with the England captaincy for the world cup. Oh and Didier Drogba was awarded an offside goal to make sure Chelsea won the title with a win at Old Trafford.

Go on then tell me I’m wrong………..

I watched “United”, the team should be made to watch it, they will again be reminded what it means to be United, they will go out and beat Chelsea, they will win number 19.The FA tried to screw United then and failed, they will again fail.

  3. Jack says:

    your not wrong

and we have been screwed but we always get screwed and yet somehow people think everything goes our way.

the thing that makes you laugh is when people say things will even themselves out but they never do.

and on the rarely occasion something similar happens take the game with arsenal vidic handled it now instead of them going back and saying well that matches up with the handball goal which adebayor scored at ot (nor did it matched up to the handball in the newcastle game by guthrie which again got ignored ), it gets linked to a much clearer penalty later in that game.
not to mention (well since motd 2 nor did i see it covered on sky) evra getting dragged down by walcott in the box or the fact the ref failed to add on the correct time today, i mean there keeper took ages on those goal kicks but it didnt seem to count.
how about alex song getting away with dissent and denying us the ball, since the ref was booking him for the tackle away.

or wilshire grabbed carricks foot no booking but our players picked up cards for similar or lesser offences.

its a nightmare when refs cant do there jobs right.

Well well you bunch are real idiots. You get 99% decisions in your favour and still whine about one decision against you.. Pathetic!! You people need to see the match once more. You should have had atleast 2 players sent off. If you dont know who they’re, then let me name them for you- one’s a shrek(rooney???) and other’s a scumbag(vidic).

  4. Pat says:

    You’re wrong =D.
Biggest decision in the Arsenal game was the Vidic handball one. If spotted, he gets sent off, suspended, and United play against Arsenal with 10 pen and probably a goal down since RVP doesn’t miss penalties, barring one.

    1. LPool at OT. 2-0 up, Lpool come back to 2-2. O’Shea should be sent off for foul as the last man. He isn’t sent off, assists winning goal late on with a cross.

    2. Stoke City away, Neville should have been sent off in the first half, United won it late.

3.SPurs at OT. United were in a run where they conceded goals late on a lot. Clear handball from Nani, ref fails to use common sense and United allowed a cheap goal.

4.Aston Villa away. At 2-0, they should have had a penalty, were denied. United come back in last 10 minutes to draw 2-2.

5.Wigan home, 2 very soft red cards, compared to what Vidic and Scholes get away with.

6.West Brom away. Neville should be sent off in opening half hour and WBA given a penalty. How the ref missed the most obvious penalty of the season, I will never know.

7.Blackpool away. Up 2-0 and denied a blatant penalty in the 2nd half. United win 2-3.

8.West Ham away, down 2-0, Vidic should be sent off for pulling down Cole when he was last man. No red given, United come back 2-4.

9.newcastle, Lovenkrands denied clear cut penalty when fouled by Anderson. 0-0.

    10. ALthough Everton were battered, should have had 1-0 lead when Anichebe was taken down by Rio. Much more of a penalty than that bullshit Bolton got against Arsenal

    • Scott says:

Would have to agree with you there Pat.

We United get away with a fair bit too, something many of the opposing fans love to enlighten us with!

I am confident we will succeed in over coming those “Lovable Scoucers” (Bahaha!), and get that 19th, despite all this “shocking refing”!

      UNITED!

  5. Louder says:

United doesn’t mean you must always win. Vidic was supposed to be sent off for deliberate handball and later Owen given penalty later if refs were vigilant. Who was to suffer most? Drogba without Vidic? How do you see that? Anyway dont excuse yourself it shows how foolish and selfish you are. You are talking of Luiz is he your grandmother?

  6. TimmyS says:

Wow Pat, all these facts that prove the original post wrong….what are you thinking? Don’t you know that the Manure can’t do anything wrong!!

I am going to enjoy watching Fergie throw all of his toys out of the cot when Chelsea win the title!!!

  7. David Watts says:

Anyone actually think we deserved anything? I certainly didn’t – looked to me like we were playing for a point. Lots of players went missing. Henandez barly got a touch, Valencia’s crosses are feable and Nani is not effective on the right. Moving Park central was a mistake, he lost his first challenge in the middle of the field to Ramsey and was then ball watching as he tracked back leaving Ramsey in the clear…

Crying out for a Scholes or Giggs to put their foot on tha ball and create in midfield and Fletcher to get around the park and provide some energy. Dissapointing performance, could come back to haunt us in a big way. I can see us needing a hatful Vs Blackburn and Blackpool to win on Goal difference

    • Dee says:

100% right. I do think that hatful at blackbur and blackpool is possible. We’ll be well rested then and should be shouldering less pressure since Chelsea and arsenal have trickier fixtures than we do; considernig Aston Villa, Fulham, Newcastle Utd and Everton havent exactly proved to be easy to get by.We need Berbatov to come through for more than a hat trick in our last 2 fixtures.

  8. David Watts says:

Apologies – Meant to say Nani is not effective on the left….

  9. Mike says:

Stop crying you fucking pussy. Pat sums it up perfectly. Utd always get the rub of the green, to suggest otherwise is ludicrous. Don’t you dare complain about the foul on Owen when Vidic’s own version of the hand of god ignored, and Vidic’s rugby tackle of Wilshere got ignored. Utd were shit today and deserved nothing. No conspiracy just a shit performance. Man the fuck up and accept it.

  10. MancMalc says:

Very difficult to be certain that Vidic handled the ball. From 1 camera angle he appeared to palm it away but then from the camera on the lineman’s side it seemed to miss his hand by millimetres.
How the linesman though could tell that from where he was standing is a mystery.
Owen’s penalty claim was justified, every camera angle confirmed that BUT I often wonder if referees try to balance things up when in hindsight they understand they should have given a penalty earlier but didn’t so then do not award a penalty to the other side to equal things up.
As the old saying goes, 2 wrongs do not make a right and in this case that is certainly true.
Still as a United fan, United got what they deserved – nothing!
They played as if Arsenal were Schalke, slow and pedestrian. Arsenal were anything but slow or pedestrian. They had a tempo which put United on the back foot and allowed them just a single chance at goal, a Rooney free kick.
Only after going a goal down did they think about upping the tempo and only 10 minutes from time did they even look as if they may score.
Poor, poor performance by United who now have the added pressure of Chelsea threatening to overtake them which I sincerely hope does not happen!
