Wesley Sneijder

Will he? Wont he? The guessing games continue.

Okay, I’m sorry, I know the Sneijder rumours/saga/drama/stories are getting tedious but this one did make me think there may be some vailidity to the idea he could be on his way to United.

According to Internazionale’s official website Sneijder missed today’s training session due to ‘personal reasons’ and is also not named in their 20 man squad to face Olympiakos tomorrow.

There could be a justifable reason for it all of course, which doesn’t involve a transfer to United, or then again……

those 4 will get us the 20th but won’t be able to take us to the top of Europe though….Anderson and Carrick have been given enough chance to prove themselves but still… Fletcher is very ordinary …. Cleverley is good but he certainly is not world class yet…

we need someone pretty urgently … but why only Sneijder? I am sure there are so many “YOUNG” talents in Spain and Argentina (or even France) and will only cost half that much…

Wht personal reasons make Wisley Shneidjer absent from training? Let him join United.

If you think back to 2008 and 2009 when the team was at its peak, we were vulnerable in the centre of the park. Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney backed up by a very solid defence papered over the weakness but when we came up against teams with a strong midfield we could suffer. Benitez didn’t win the league with Liverpool because he was always too cautious (although I digress, the same will happen to Mancini) but his teams always gave us a very good game because he knew how to set his teams out against us in the centre of the park. I believe that in Europe Fergie was forced to play with a 3 or 5 in the middle (depending how you look upon it) because we did not have 2 players in there that were capable of controlling the game by themselves. If we had Xavi Alonso sitting and distributing with Sneijder and any of the midfield players we have now, we would be a match for Barcelona, I am certain of that. Fergie was here in Gibraltar last year, invited by the local supporters association and he seemed to have a lot of faith in the players coming through. He described Revel Morrison as the most skilful young player to emerge from the ranks since Ryan Giggs. That maybe so. But what makes football such an appealing game is that every fan has (and is entitled to) an opinion. Mine is that I find it very frustrating that we are so close to being a truly great side if only we signed two midfield players. Ultimately it’s Fergie’s opinion that counts though.

I hv said it b4 n i tink i’m still saying it again, Manchester United, vehemently, gr8ly, seriously, urgently n honestly need a man lyk Wesly Sneidjer in there midfield, he has gotten d skill n dexterity, d pace n scintillating moves, d tackle n good counter attack, d creativity n vission, d valley n goal scoring habit, i tink in my opinion he is second to our ex-while legen Paul Scholes. If really Sir Alex Ferguson Wants to measure up to d midfield of world class club lyk Bercelone whose midfield has been adjudged as d best in d world, whose midfielders appear unstoppable, then we need d lyks of him to fill in d vacuum dat our midfield has created due to d exit of Paul Scholes. Fergie, we need Wesly Sneidjer Simple!
