"Kagawa, Kagawa, wherever you may be, you eat raw fish in your own country..."

All the talk of late has been of a certain Belgian individual whose name I’m so sick of reading, hearing and even dreaming about, I’m loathe to repeat it. There’s another United target, that’s almost become an afterthought in many Reds minds these last few days but who by rights should be at the very forefront of our thinking.

Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa, is supremely talented and seemingly available for a very reasonable -at least in today’s market- price of around £14-17 million depending on who you believe. The problem I see with Kagawa coming to Old Trafford- and yes this is my opinion, I’m not basing it on any “in the know” drivel, nor am I inclined to even quote a news outlet such has been their contradictory reporting over the past few days, I see Kagawa getting snapped up by someone else if we don’t act.

Arsenal are always on the look out for young talented- especially diminutive – players and would no doubt love nothing more than to silence the critics who claim they lack ambition – not to mention appease some of their own success-starved fans with a marquee signing of not too expensive proportions right from under the noses of one of their rivals. Arsenal also have the added carrot of Nicklas Bendtner a player who could be used as part of the deal as Arsene Wenger has obviously had enough of the Danes ego outweighing his not-too-great talents.

Kagawa has spoken to United – of that we can be sure – unless he’s a mentalist and is lying when he says he’s had talks with the club, my only worry is with all the focus on the kid from Lille, another club may be able to convince the Japanese international, he’s not our number one priority and he should sign with them.

I’d hate to see United chasing two young talents and end up with none, now is the time to secure the lad who IS willing to come to Old Trafford, before someone else does.

Kagawa is more United type player in terms of cost but more importantly he has shown willingness to commit to United. Hazrad sounds like more Shitty type mercenary, conceited, arrogant, not proven outside French league, thinks he is already Messi or Ronaldo. Kagawa is a must signing for United. Lets hope it happens soon.

I agree with you. We should move for Kagawa- he has proven to be better goalscorer than Hazard. He also has a better workrate- one of the things we need now as Park is no longer up for it again. Thirdly, we need to keep our Asian market alive……..I were SAF, I will conclude the deal with 15m and get Michu instead of Hazard.

BTW, I am so sick of hearing about Pogba ditching United, hope he goes to hell and rot. He has turned out to be the worst of United players to show loyalty to the club. My question: why wasn’t he loaned out last year and fast track his development, then move him up to the first team setup quicker? His contract should have been dealt with last year, not in his final year. Complacent management?

  5. RJ says:

    Very true.
His stats are just as good as Hazards (if not better) and he will be much more loyal to the club (I think that’s down to a culture thing).

  6. Stone Roses says:

Fingers crossed he comes, kagawa is a top player

  7. Mick Mah says:

Come off Hazards back. Lets wait for his decision. He would be an asset for united for sure.

  8. get real numpty says:

There was a time when comments like “fingers crossed” didn’t exist when United were in for a player and the club and fans were always sure of getting the player as this is no longer the case maybe the club should be more aggressive in their approach to obtaining new signings, and give targets deadlines to sign.
If they fail in that approach then they could always head for alternative targets who are struggling for work such as Steve Bruce and Roy Keane who will never make a tv pundit and may be glad of alternative employment, the knock on effect of this would bethe bonus of Giggs and Scholes not feeling so old and signing 5yr contracts.
I only suggest this as the club would then have something in common with the fans in that both would be living in the past.

Your comment seemed to lack conviction.. Well at least we won’t resort to living in someone else’s past.

      Viera as director of football.
      Hilarious

I thought the reds were about developing their own youngsters, like Nistleroy, Ronaldo,Stam, Ferdinand and Rooney. Sounds like your trying to buy the league. Oh , and your site home page says, ‘ not arrogant, just better ‘ ; you might want to change it to ‘ not arrogant just second ‘ but then the facts never seem to impress you fantasists .

  10. Blue Tony says:

And another thing. . . A friend of mine drew the following analogy about the impoverished reds. He said, ‘ the transfer Market is like a queue at an ice cream van. Mancini at the front with a pocket full of cash buying chocolate ices and double flake 99’s and poor old SAF at the bag wondering if he can scrape the pennies together for a mini milk lolly’ Dont get disheartened, you had a great history

    • Dont Ask says:

Bore off “Blue Tony”. I for one have never been on another football clubs fan site to post rubbish articles slating other clubs. Get on your City sites and worry about your own club. You are an internet troll and have issues
